Shady’s back, back again and this time he’s brought a friend: Eminem has enlisted pop superstar, Rihanna for a co-headlining tour this summer. The Monster Tour, although it’s really more of a smattering of concert dates, is only hitting three cities – Los Angeles, New York, and Detroit. Named after the song, “The Monster”, that Eminem and Rihanna collaborated on for The Marshall Mathers LP 2, the short trek is sure to have fans demanding for more shows. It is entirely possible that the Eminem Rihanna Monster Tour will be a springboard for solo ventures; i.e. a 2014 Eminem Tour and 2014 Rihanna Tour only time will tell.
As of now, the Eminem & Rihanna Monster Tour 2014 is opening up at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA on 8/7, followed by a performance at MetLife Stadium in New York City on 8/16, and finally wrapping up in Slim Shady‘s hometown of Detroit, MI where the duo plays Comerica Park. Tickets hit the shelves, so to speak, with presales beginning tomorrow, 3/20. If you’re itching for an Em and RiRi fix right now, check out their music video for “The Monster” below.
