It’s official! Taking over the main stage of Coachella 2014 this April are past headliners Arcade Fire and Muse, as well as hip hop duo OutKast, reuniting to perform for the first time since 2007.

Arcade Fire wasn’t so much of a rumor as it was a given based on the obvious gaps in their tour schedule, and OutKast‘s secret was already out by late 2013. Muse, on the other hand, had kept their festival plans largely under wraps until now, surprising fans with their name in bold. In addition to Coachella’s usual repertoire of festival regulars and current buzzbands ready for their sweat-induced shining moment in Empire Polo Fields, this year’s lineup also features electronic heavyweights such as Zedd, Skrillex, Calvin Harris, and Alesso, a nod towards the growing EDM scene.

The 2014 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival will take place over the course of two weekends, April 11-13th and April 18-20th, with duplicate lineups scheduled for both weekends. Tickets for America’s most anticipated music fest sold out in under 3 hours last Friday, leaving some in bitter tears, and others glad they skipped the craze and scored earlybird passes beforehand. In any case, Contender has the full lineup below, including a breakdown of must-see and can’t-miss acts this year in Indio. Read on!
