Led by Legend of the Summer, Justin Timberlake, it appears that ‘N Sync will be tearing up the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday.

MTV has announced that Timberlake is scheduled to give a live performance following his reception of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. But rather than the run of the mill “Suit & Tie” ish, former ‘N Sync band members JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass are all reportedly scheduled to join Timberlake for a “surprise” reunion performance.

While ‘N Sync’s last televised performance was at the 2003 Grammys, this year’s rumored VMAs performance will mark the first time the group has performed together since their 2004 rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner” at their annual Challenge for the Children.
