After teasing fans with a handful of U.S. shows this past December, The Rolling Stones have announced the next stretch of the 50 & Counting Tour. Following a winter filled with rumors of festival appearances and possible tour plans, the Stones confirmed that they will be playing nine cities this May through June before performing at the Glastonbury Festival in England on June 29th. The ageless wonders are set to start rolling across North America beginning with a show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.
The Stones announced that the tour will open up on May 2nd with a show at the Staples Center. The Los Angeles show is tentatively set to be followed up by a Cinco de Mayo (5/5) gig at the Oracle Center in Oakland, California – but with additional shows already added in both Toronto and Chicago, you can expect the majority of cities (L.A. included) to receive added dates as well. The tour is temporarily set to come to a close on June 18th at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA. Take a look at the band’s announcement below:

The Rolling Stones 50 & Counting 2013 Tour
The 50 & Counting 2013 Tour will get started on May 2nd with a show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. While there is only a single show currently scheduled, expect one, if not two, additional Stones dates booked at the Staples. The counting continues on May 5th at the Oracle Center in Oakland, CA. The tour will be stationed on the West Coast to begin the trip, including stops in San Jose, Anaheim, and Las Vegas, before a 5/25 show at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. The 5/25 Toronto show will be the first of two, as the Stones are again scheduled to play at the Air Canada Centre on 6/6. The Toronto gigs will serve as the slices of bread for the now-THREE Chicago gigs scheduled at the United Center on May 28th, 31st, and June 3rd. The tour rolls on to the TD Garden in Boston, MA on 6/12, and is tentatively set to come to a halt on 6/18.
