Formed in Kailua Kona, Hawaii in 1997, Pepper consists of Kaleo Wassman on vocals/guitar, Bret Bollinger on vocals/bass, and Yesod Williams on drums. While island flavor is an obvious fixture in the band’s sound, it’s never overwhelming. The band is known for their melodic blend of alternative rock and punk effortlessly infused with breezy island beats of their hometown. Five studio albums in, the band members mutually decided to take a break from both music and eachother in 2008. Coming back in 2010 with an EP, Stitch, and a subsequent tour, the band went back to the studio eager to record a sixth album, to be released July 16, 2013. The reggae-rock group has toured with 311, Slightly Stoopid, Flogging Molly and Sublime With Rome, as well as multiple appearances on Warped Tour.
