Wolfmother is an Australian hard rock group that formed in 2000. The founding members of the band consisted of vocalist/guitarist Andrew Stockdale, bassist and keyboardist Chris Ross, and drummer Myles Heskett. Heskett and Ross later left the band in 2008 due to irreconcilable musical and personal differences. Stockdale continued the band with new members that have consistently changed throughout the years. Wolfmother has won three ARIA Music Awards including Best Breakthrough Album, Best Rock Album, and Best Group at the 2006 ARIA Music Awards for their self-titled album Wolfmother. They also won a Grammy in the "Best Hard Rock Performance" category for "Woman." The band announced they were breaking up in April 2013 but 10 weeks later announced they were reuniting.
